Eating Cheap in Cayman on Thursdays

This island is small, the amount of things you can do is a bit limited and so my posts have become a little less frequent. I would like to start a series on where to eat cheap and amazing food on any weeknight. This is the first entry for that!

If you have heard anything about Cayman it is probably that it is really expensive and it definitely can be. However if you've been on the island long enough you tend to find out about the hidden treasures of eating out! I have heard about the pasta night for months before I tried it. I am not a big fan of pasta myself but I regret not going earlier!

Pasta Night (Grand Old House)- Thursdays
 Beautiful location right on the water in south sound. Currently Grand Old House is about a 5 minute walk from my house. Very convenient!

On Thursday nights they have a pasta and jazz night. You get a ticket when you come in. There are usually 3 chefs cooking pasta at one station.

You choose your ingredients !

Then they cook it in front of you! You choose your sauce, I highly recommend mixing the tomato with the cream sauce.

Finally you get to eat it!

One other pretty cool thing about Grand Old House is they do daily tarpon feedings. If you look over the edge by the small balcony you will see all the tarpon.
