Saint Patrick's Day In Cayman

I have posted a blog entry before about the social life in Cayman. I mentioned some national holidays of the expats but I totally forgot about Saint Patrick's Day! There is quite a large Irish population here, enough to actually start gaelic football leagues.

There is a traditional pub crawl for Saint Patrick's Day that starts at 2pm and hits 17 different pubs. Who knew Cayman had 17 different pubs?

Here is the map.

Aqua Beach

Obar

Helium

Mango Tree

North Coast Bar

Rum Point

Kaibo

Over the Edge

 Everglo
 Country Western

Calico Jacks
This is where I got distracted from the pub crawl because a good friend was in the "Hands on the Blarney Stone" competition. She is not a heavy drinker so I did not think she would make it very far but after Calicoes I got a message that she was in the top three. I rushed down to Coconut Joes but unfortunately the competition was over and my friend was very sick! All in all an amazing night and I will do it again!
