How News Is Made in Cayman

I got back to my desk from lunch and checked facebook. Found this photo which one of my friend's had just posted on his wall.

After getting a little freaked out I quickly ripped off his photo and posted it on my facebook. It is a waterspout. Then I noticed my friend who works for the tv station is online and here is what followed...

  1. Hey, I randomly found your blog while searching for paddle surfing in Cayman. I'm moving there from the US on Sep 4. Good to see some real info from an expat. Keep it up :) How long do you plan on living there?

  2. Congrats on the move. You should love it! Just remember Sept is peak hurricane season.

I hope to live in Cayman for many many years!

  3. Sincere thanks for your warm response! I have now been here one full week and I'm loving it so far. I am laying on a beach chair at Rum Point drinking a Cayman Lemonade as I write this :) I got a chance to snorkel and visit the stingrays a few days ago while out with the boss. The only hard part is deciding what to try next :) What do you suggest?
