Diving Certification

I finally completed my open water dive certification. It all started a month ago. My coworker and I decided to finally get ours done as we were the only ones on our team who had not done it yet. First our initial class got canceled because of bad weather. That happened a few times so finally we ended up doing our pool work in a thunder storm! We did it through Happy Fish because it was recommended to us by a friend. It was cool cause it was just myself and my friend with the instructor. We watched another class do theirs and there was 8 people. We finished in at least half the time.

We scheduled our open water dives for the following weekend. We were able to do two on Saturday but then Sunday the seas got rough. So it was canceled. It was then canceled the following couple of weekends. I went all the way to the dive site one day just to find this

Finally today I did my last two dives and passed the written exam with a 98%. Officially a diver!! Also saw two awesome turtles. Amazing! Special thanks to Kirsten at Happy Fish!
