Rough Waters

So I was never able to come to terms with my roommate. After the final straw I decided I had to move out. There are very few choices for people who want to live on their own. I have seen many of them and either they are too far out of the way or they are just too old and dingy. I decided to go back to what I know and moved back to the first place I lived.

Since the complex I used to live in only had 3 one bedroom apartments, which had all become occupied, I moved into a studio apartment. It is much smaller then the one I used to live in but it is still nice and I was able, with some clever organizing, to fit in most of my stuff.

The complex is modern and clean. The best part is the people that live here. Most of us have become friends and I always find someone to talk to when I feel like socializing.

There has been some strange weather on the island. The seasons are shifting and a colder front has blown in. The seas are much rougher. Now that I live on the main floor I am starting to get a little worried about getting flooded. That is the price you pay for living right on the ocean. It is beautiful though and the smell and sound of the ocean is amazing. It no longer feels like you are watching the fireplace channel but with the ocean.

Here is a picture of what the ocean normally looks like outside my place.

Here is what it looks like today
