Mom and I decided to see most of the island before she left so we went up to rum point and took the long way (1h drive). This part of Grand Cayman is quite undeveloped. There is a lot of bush and wild beaches. Surprisingly there is also a lot of places for sale. It seemed like every second house was on sale.
Turns out that a lot of people buy vacation homes here. Some of them just buy the homes for the asking price without checking what the market is like. So a lot of the homeowners keep their properties on sale all the time hoping that someone comes down, falls in love with the place and pays the inflated price the houses are listed under.
Love all your photos... looks beautiful!!
